Thaagtatorship

There's been some big changes in the guild and the leadership of it. For about a week, this will be a Thaag/Halyra-tatorship so that things can be worked out before we settle back into our laid-back style.

My first act as supreme dictator of Caffeine is to halt any new invitations to the guild until the interested party has registered at this forum AND filled out an application. Participation even in a passive way with our forum should be mandatory.

My second act is to ask all officers who do invite someone to the guild to put the new member in the Decaf rank and note in the officer's notes what date they joined. After a week, they can be moved to their appropriate squad.

If the new member is an alt of a current member, officers please enter that in the note before moving them to their appropriate squad.

Now that I'm not so distraught....

A little background: Last year I used to hang out on Vent with Wasilu, Nawani, Neckron, and his wife Neckronamus (now Bubblicious). We were pretty tight and I absolutely adore everyone mentioned above (yes, even Wasilu). Neckron was the one I would talk to when things bothered me as he was the one that was rather level-headed. When our little cadre broke up, Neckron was still the one that, when I saw him in town, I would hug and talk to him for a little bit.

On 31 May 2008, Neckron aka Bobby Alexander died of brain cancer.

Lorinni (my hunter alt) still has one of Neckron's first netherweave bags. He told me, "Don't tell Nawani." (Nawani was his best friend IRL and I'm still not sure why I was not supposed to tell him.) I'm never ever ever getting rid of that bag. I don't care if Blizz comes up with 100 slot bags, that one's staying in my inventory.

My next act as Thaagtator is to dedicate our raids in Neckron's name.
