I've been talking to several of you lately regarding the raiding future of this guild in light of our recent losses of quality toons - I say toons to differentiate from the players behind those toons. I am saddened by the loss of Deak, Dor and Liand; but I do not view them in the same light as others who will go unnamed. We befriend people from time to time and then lose touch as each has to do what is best for them. Life goes on.
My gaming life before Caffeine started out with the excitement of something new, progressed to feeling a bit overwhelmed with the enormity of the tasks before me, and degenerated into bitterness due to dramas just like the one some of us had the misfortune of witnessing here just recently. Then I found Caffeine and my gaming life blossomed and was enriched just by the quality of people in this guild who had banded together for a common goal.
Despite the loss of several L70s, we still have over 30 and over 130 toons (I won't say people heh) in this guild. Recruitment is ongoing as witnessed by Altarine and Reignak - 2 new pallys, both L70. (I'm sure there have been more, but I've yet to meet everyone.) I just want to go on record as saying I think that the raiding future of this guild remains very bright. The future of the guild itself was never in doubt.
Some of you whom I've spoken with recently seemed upbeat, some a little down.. to the naysayers who say we can't do Kara on our own I beg to differ. We only need 10 people to make a Kara raid and there are
at least 15 L70s on, day in and day out, any of which would make for a great team member.

Not even counting Kohe - BM Hunter or Val - Combat Rogue or Altarine - whom I have not yet met... We have more than enough people to go to Kara! We have tanks, we have off tanks, we have a healer, we have off healers, we have AOE classes, we have hunters, DPS out the yazoo! We can do this people! Especially since Liandrist has said that he will continue to MT for us until such time as we can groom another to take his place.
In closing I'd just like to thank each and every member of this guild for helping make my WoW experience that much better.
